Dan Daffinrud

Dan earned his degree from the University of North Dakota and is pursuing his CFA certification. Before joining SkySkopes in 2016, Dan worked as an angel fund investor and entrepreneurial consultant, guiding early-stage ventures across industries such as medical devices, autonomous systems, and software. He played a crucial role in deploying capital within the emerging sUAS market, gaining a comprehensive understanding of its value chain. 

As SkySkopes‘ Chief Financial Officer, Dan leverages his diverse experiences to drive the company’s growth, strategic planning, and maturation of its financial operations. His vision for the future involves exploring emerging technologies and implementing sustainable business practices to position SkySkopes at the forefront of innovation. Outside of work, Dan is an avid reader and hiker, with interests in economics, financial markets, and new technology.
